The heading for this BLOG is, of course, heavy sarcasm on my part. Of course, black is always black, and white is always white regardless of anyone’s opinion to the contrary. See, opinions don’t change facts and truth no matter how strenuously and persuasively one might argue to the contrary. I mean, regardless of the persuasiveness of your argument, and regardless of your opinion, 2 + 2 will always equal 4 – not 10 or 11.
Reality, truth and facts are what they are, and they cannot be argued away. Laws don’t change facts, or reality, either. But our state and federal governments – other governments around the world, too - seem to think that they do. Of course, deep down (well, not that deep down actually!) these legislators know that black is black and white is white, even though they desperately want black to be white and white to be black. And so, many laws have been passed in parliaments around the world that want black to be white, by which they force the population to agree with them – and if someone doesn’t, can’t, or won’t agree that black is white, when we all know that isn’t true, they are severely punished.
In this country in most states laws were enacted years ago that basically state that abortion on demand as a method of birth control is not murder – but it is. Black is black and no law can change that.
And so, I approach this next issue with some passion realising that our state and federal governments have decreed that my opinion is wrong, that the facts are wrong, and that black is white because they want black to be white. Even when we all know it isn’t true.
Under current laws in state and federal jurisdictions, a man can be declared to be a woman – by law. And in Victoria, because black is now ruled to actually be white, a “trans woman” (a biological male wanting to be a woman) who has been convicted on serious paedophilia charges is now serving a prison sentence in a women’s prison. Now, because our state government has legislated that black is now white (you get my drift here) the word “woman” now has no real meaning. A man now has the right to be declared a woman regardless of biology and a host of other things like DNA and chromosomes. And because black can now be white, and the very word “woman” has been robbed of proper meaning, women suffer horrendous losses – their rights, the protections deemed essential and sacred for thousands of years, their personal and private spaces and, most of all, their dignity. That’s how it is right now in Australia – and the courts are enforcing in the most brutal way that black is white, when it isn’t and never will be.
Some of you will have heard of the charges brought against the owner of “Giggle for Girls” (a women’s networking app) because a biological male who goes by the name Roxanne Tickle complained of unlawful discrimination when prevented from joining the group. Roxanne took the owner, Sall Grover, to court and was awarded $10,000 in compensation for hurt feelings and legal costs. In other words, Sall Grover determined that black was, indeed, black and barred the biological male from joining Giggle for Girls - but the law says black can be white. She is appealing the case, as she should. The basis of Roxanne’s complaint was that the law now says she is legally permitted to identify as female and has a new birth certificate to “prove” it and should be allowed into women’s only places and spaces. And, well, the judge determined that black was white, even though black can never be white.
We now have legislation in place around the world that, for all intents and practical purposes, enforces that black is white and if you argue the point based on truth and facts, you will be punished severely. The court ruled against Giggle for Girls’ argument that white is white (i.e. that sex is confined to biology) and rejected their defence. Furthermore, the court ruled that sex is not limited “to the reality of male and female”. Now, let’s think about this for a moment: under this ruling “woman” is no longer a clearly defined and sacred biological reality. It is whatever the law determines that it is – regardless of facts and truth.
Dear readers, this is farcical. But the judge was serious.
Giggle for Girls legal counsel, Katherine Deves, exposed the woke shenanigans and trumpeted a dire warning: “The stakes are high in this case. Women’s international human rights will be lost if ‘woman’ now includes any male who identifies as such. This decision matters not just in Australia but also to the watching world.” She is absolutely right. Black is black and white is white. Advocacy Director of ADF International, Robert Clarke, said in the aftermath of the judge’s verdict, “By ruling that a biological male was discriminated against for being excluded from a women’s app, the court delivered a flawed judgment that undermines protections for women. Sex is not a feeling – it is a biological fact, and it cannot be changed. This appeal is a defining moment: the Court must choose between ideology and reality.” He said it well – black is always black, not white, pink or purple.
This is but one example of many new laws coming down the pipeline into our communities, schools, homes and churches, that demand conformity that black is white and white can be black. I know I keep saying this, but it needs to be prophetically declared – without taking a backward step, and with all energy – we Christians cannot stand by idly and let these laws continue to shape our nation and learning institutions. Now – TODAY – is the time to take a stand. When the effect of such laws as described above filter down into classrooms they no longer become places of learning and education but laboratories of indoctrination and brainwashing. The end result is kids parroting unquestioningly that black is white and white is black. This is not reality. It’s demonic.
The old phrase "with God there are no shades of grey" states a clear doctrinal view that morality is absolute and not a spectrum of right and wrong, contrasting it with human interpretations of moral ambiguity. For those who hold to this belief, actions are either right or wrong, black or white - there is no middle ground or "grey area", let alone a black-can-be-white reasoning. God's will and laws are perfectly clear. He is holy and there is no confusion about right and wrong.
Another old phrase: “there is no shadow of turning with God” is based on James 1:17, and means God is constant and unchanging – the doctrinal concept known as immutability. This statement contrasts God's perfect and consistent nature with the way earthly objects, like the sun, cast a shifting "shadow" as they turn, signifying that God's goodness and character never change. Black is always black, and white is always white. Because He is holy.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
And so, a judge in a courtroom, on the basis of the law, is forced to rule that black is white, if black wants to be white. And a woman is punished for daring to disagree and hold to actual truth, that there are not three sexes but only two, that this is black and white.
At the moment women’s rights in Australia are being eroded – and the church has said nothing. The trans-lobby has been tight-lipped, and barely a murmur from leftist feminists, with right-leaning feminists lampooned as strange and marginalised for daring to say black is black and can never be white. Journalist Chris Uhlmann said it best:
“The legal right to change gender should not compel others to deny the reality of sex, because it is the definition of tyranny that you demand I sign up to a fantasy.”
It is fantasy to even think that black can be white.
Pray for strength for Sall Grover and the Giggle appeal team as they stand firm in the face of woke opposition; and pray that truth will prevail, and that the law in Australia will reflect reality and not fantasy.
And write letters to your state and federal MPs – they should know of your concerns.
